XENOM appears to have updated several workouts and movement standards ahead of its inaugural competition in Dallas this June.
The new fitness competition, which positions itself as a standardized global CrossFit-style event series, initially published workout details on its website earlier this year. However, a newer set of workout graphics released on Instagram four days ago show multiple differences across several events compared to the standards still listed on the company website.
The Biggest Changes
Several events became noticeably more accessible in the newer Instagram release.
Event 002
The rope climb standard was reduced from 14 feet to 10 feet.
Event 004
Barbell cycling loads were reduced substantially.
Original website version:
- 70/48 kg
Current Instagram version:

Event 006
Event 006 underwent one of the largest revisions.

Event 009
The Heavy Clean Ladder was reduced substantially across every stage.

- 140/95 kg

- Chest-to-Bar Pull-Ups
- Dual DB Farmers Lunges
- Dual dumbbells
Current Instagram version:
- Pull-Ups
- Single DB Back Rack Lunges

Shift Toward Accessibility?
Taken together, the changes appear to move the competition toward a broader RX-level athlete base rather than a more Games-adjacent competitive standard.
The original website version leaned heavily into advanced gymnastics, heavier Olympic lifting numbers, and dual implement work. The more recent Instagram release lowers the overall technical barrier in several places while keeping the overall structure of the competition intact.
Notably, several core pieces of the format remain unchanged:
- 10 total events across two days
- Individual and pairs divisions
- Standardized event structure across all locations
- Event sequencing
- The EPI scoring model
- Event 007 remaining unreleased
XENOM is scheduled to debut June 27-28, 2026 at Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas, with a second event already scheduled for Olympia London on August 29-30, 2026.
Pricing Differences Between Dallas and London
XENOM also appears to have adjusted pricing between its first two announced events.
When Dallas was announced in February, individual pricing was listed at $500, with pairs priced at $450 per athlete.
On April 29, XENOM announced London pricing starting at £129 for individuals and £250 for pairs during a Super Early Bird window, with later pricing increasing to £199 individual and £379 for pairs.
Even accounting for currency conversion, the London launch pricing was substantially lower than the originally announced Dallas rates.
