Hybrid Games Insolvency Filing Reveals More Than £500,000 in Liabilities as New Management Takes Over

As Hybrid Games begins operating under new management and rolls out a new brand direction, newly disclosed insolvency filings detail the financial position left behind by companies connected to the previous ownership.

A Statement of Affairs filed with Companies House on April 2, 2026, relating to HGE2026 Ltd (formerly The Hybrid Games Events Limited), estimates total liabilities of £504,390 against approximately £30,000 in assets, leaving an estimated deficiency of £494,486.

The filing lists:

  • £77,254 in trade and expense creditors
  • £104,000 in intercompany creditors
  • £30,000 owed to HM Revenue & Customs
  • G4S Secure Solutions (UK) Ltd among the listed creditors

The filing follows months of reporting by Hybrid Fitness Media into unpaid vendors, County Court Judgments, and insolvency proceedings involving companies connected to Hybrid Games.

Previously reported claims include:

  • Allen Transport, which obtained a £15,674 County Court Judgment relating to haulage services for the 2025 Glasgow event.
  • Big Purple Productions, which stated it was owed more than £13,000 for audio and visual production at the 2025 Newcastle event.
  • Event Flooring Solutions (EFS Europe), which claimed approximately £25,000 remained unpaid for flooring supplied to multiple 2025 events.
  • Victoria Goulbourne and Jessica Brady, who each publicly alleged they were not paid affiliate commissions after promoting Hybrid Games events.
  • An additional £912 County Court Judgment entered against Walker James Limited by another creditor.

In March, Hybrid Fitness Media also reported that Walker James Limited, the company that operated the 2025 Hybrid Games events, filed a Notice of Intention to Enter Administration after stating it was unable to pay its liabilities as they fell due.

While the latest filing identifies several categories of creditors, it does not disclose the names of every trade creditor included within the £77,254 figure, nor does it identify the companies included within the £104,000 in intercompany creditors.

Hybrid Games has since announced its 2027 event schedule and appears to be rolling out a rebrand featuring a new color scheme and the tagline “The People’s Race.”

Hybrid Fitness Media has submitted questions to the new management team regarding the insolvency filings, previously reported creditors, and the company’s plans moving forward.

We reached out to Dale Walker for comment but did not receive a response.

We are scheduled to speak with the new management team next week for a podcast discussing the company’s future, the rebrand, and questions surrounding the transition.
