The HYROX World Championships are heading to the Windy City. More than 5 years since it hosted its first ever HYROX event in January 2020, Chicago has been chosen to host the biggest ever HYROX World Championships with over 10,000 athletes and fans expected. The event will commence on Thursday 12 June 2025 and finish on Sunday 16 June 2025 although we expect many athletes will celebrate into the early hours of Monday morning at the famous World Championships afterparty. The precise schedule for the event is still being finalised. However, HYROX has confirmed the races that we can look forward to. ELITE 15 INDIVIDUAL RACE – The best 15 Pro Men and best 15 Pro Women race head-to-head to crown the 2024/25 Elite World Champion. Can last years Champs Megan Jacoby and Alex Roncevic repeat? Qualification via four Major Races and the Last Chance Qualifier. ELITE 15 DOUBLES RACE – Brand New this Season, the best 15 Pro Doubles Men and Pro Doubles Women will race to be crowned the first ever Elite Doubles World Champions. Qualification via five open races scheduled across USA, Europe and Australia. ELITE RELAY WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP – Returning for a second year, the Elite Relay closed the curtain last year with Team England narrowly beating Team USA and Team Germany in a thrilling race. Can Team USA taste success on home turf? Each Team will represent a HYROX nation and Qualification will again be via invite. AGE GROUP CHAMPIONSHIPS – The finest individual and doubles competitors within will battle it out to be crowned the champion of their Age Group. These athletes have fought hard during the year to earn a coveted World Championship spot and the opportunity to test themselves against their peers. Qualification spots available at every HYROX event. So, the venue is now set, the path to glory has been laid out, will you be there in Chicago in June 2025?
