HYROX London EMEA Regional Championships 2026: Elite 15 Women’s Start List, Roll-Downs, and Qualification Breakdown

How the Elite 15 Qualification System Works For Regionals

Unlike the HYROX Majors, there are no automatic qualifiers for Regionals. HYROX ranks athletes by the average of their two fastest Elite race results from the previous 365 days. The cutoff date for the EMEA Championships was February 27, 2026.

Elite Doubles operates under a different qualification model than Elite 15 Singles. In Singles, athletes qualify based on the average of their two fastest races from the previous 365 days, calculated against a Major-specific cutoff date. In Doubles, teams only need to race once to be eligible, and there are no automatic qualifiers carried over from previous-season Majors or World Championships.

Additional Regionals Distinction

To be considered for a Regional Championship, an athlete must hold a passport from that region. Qualification times may be earned at any HYROX race worldwide prior to the official cut-off date.

Athletes may only compete in the Regional Championship associated with their passport. Athletes holding dual passports must select one region and may only compete in that single Regional Championship.

Already Qualified for the 2026 HYROX World Championships

Several athletes have already secured qualification for the 2026 HYROX World Championships through podium finishes at Major races this season.

Those athletes include:

Joanna Wietrzyk — Hamburg Major
Lauren Weeks — Hamburg Major
Vivian Tafuto — Hamburg Major
Lucy Procter — Melbourne Major
Jess Pettrow — Melbourne Major
Sinéad Bent — Melbourne Major
Linda Meier — Phoenix Major (roll-down)
Gabrielle Nikora-Baker — Phoenix Major (roll-down)
Lena Putters — Phoenix Major (roll-down)

However, Regional Championships are restricted by passport, meaning only athletes from the EMEA region are eligible to compete in London.

Among athletes racing at the HYROX EMEA Regional Championships, the following competitors have already secured Worlds qualification:
Lena Putters
Lucy Procter
Sinéad Bent

If one of those athletes wins the race in London, the World Championship qualification will roll down to the next eligible finisher.

How To Qualify for the World Championships from The HYROX Regionals

Unlike the Majors, where the top three men and top three women at each event qualify for the 2026 World Championships in Sweden, only 1st place at each Regional Championship earns a Worlds spot. Roll-downs apply if the winner has already secured qualification through a previous Major.

With several athletes in the field already qualified for Worlds, the race in London could see the qualification roll down depending on who takes the win.
