How the Elite 15 Qualification System Works For Regionals
Unlike the HYROX Majors, there are no automatic qualifiers for Regionals. HYROX ranks athletes by the average of their two fastest Elite race results from the previous 365 days. The cutoff date for the EMEA Championships was February 27, 2026.
Additional Regionals Distinction
To be considered for a Regional Championship, an athlete must hold a passport from that region. Qualification times may be earned at any HYROX race worldwide prior to the official cut-off date.
Athletes may only compete in the Regional Championship associated with their passport. Athletes holding dual passports must select one region and may only compete in that single Regional Championship.

Already Qualified for the 2026 HYROX World Championships
Several athletes have already secured qualification for the 2026 HYROX World Championships through podium finishes at the first three Major races of the season.
🇦🇹 Alexander Roncevic — 1st Hamburg Major
🇺🇸 Dylan Scott — 2nd Hamburg Major
🇳🇱 Hidde Weersma — 3rd Hamburg Major
🇩🇪 Tim Wenisch — 1st Melbourne Major
🇺🇸 Hunter McIntyre — 2nd Melbourne Major
🇬🇧 Charlie Botterill — 3rd Melbourne Major
🇦🇺 James Kelly — 2nd Phoenix Major
🇺🇸 Rich Ryan — 3rd Phoenix Major
🇮🇪 Sean Noble — 4th Phoenix Major (via roll-down)
Hamburg and Melbourne required no roll-downs, as none of the podium finishers had previously qualified. In Phoenix, however, Alexander Roncevic had already secured qualification earlier in the season, causing the final qualifying position to roll down to Sean Noble.
However, Regional Championships are restricted by passport, meaning only athletes from the EMEA region are eligible to compete in London.
Among athletes racing in the HYROX EMEA Regional Championships, the following competitors have already secured qualification for the 2026 World Championships:
🇳🇱 Hidde Weersma
🇩🇪 Tim Wenisch
🇬🇧 Charlie Botterill
🇮🇪 Sean Noble
If one of those athletes wins the race in London, the World Championship qualification will roll down to the next eligible finisher.
