HYROX Elite 15 Prize Money: Major and Regional Race Payouts Explained (2025/2026)

HYROX expanded its Elite 15 prize purse structure for the 2025/2026 season, significantly increasing payouts and extending prize money across the entire Elite 15 field.

Prize money is awarded separately for Elite 15 Singles and Elite 15 Doubles, with identical payouts for men and women in both divisions.

Every HYROX Major race this season uses the same payout structure, making the Elite 15 field one of the deepest paying divisions in functional fitness competition.

Guaranteed Payout Rules

Elite 15 athletes and teams are guaranteed prize money only if they start and finish the race.

Athletes who do not start, fail to finish, or are disqualified do not receive a payout.

Importantly, HYROX does not roll prize money down when this happens. If an athlete or team fails to finish, the prize money for that placement is not redistributed.

This rule has already played a role in several Elite races where athletes dropped out due to injury, pacing mistakes, or station failures. It reinforces the importance of finishing the race even outside podium contention.

Comparison to 2024–2025 HYROX Major Prize Money

For comparison, HYROX Major prize money during the 2024/2025 season was significantly smaller across the field.

3rd – $3,500
4th – $3,000
