The 2026 DEKA World Championships will take place December 10-13, 2026 in Fort Worth, Texas, bringing together qualified athletes from around the world across DEKA FIT, DEKA MILE, and DEKA STRONG competition formats.
The four-day championship weekend will feature invite-only world championship races, elite prize money divisions, age group competition, ruck divisions, youth races, and open community events inside the Fort Worth Convention Center and surrounding Stockyards area.

The DEKA FIT World Championship features a 5K race combined with 10 DEKA Zones.

Saturday evening and Sunday will also include open-to-the-public DEKA STRONG races that serve as qualifiers for the 2027 DEKA World Championships.

The championship weekend concludes Sunday with additional open-to-the-public DEKA STRONG competition inside the World Championship venue.
These races will also serve as qualifying opportunities for the 2027 DEKA World Championships.

Elite Individual Prize Money (Male & Female)
DEKA FIT, DEKA MILE, and DEKA STRONG:
• 1st Place – $3,000
• 2nd Place – $2,000
• 3rd Place – $1,000
• 4th Place – $500
• 5th Place – $250
In addition to prize money, the top three Elite Individual finishers in each championship race will receive championship Deltas.
Elite Team Prize Money (Male, Female & Co-Ed)
Across DEKA FIT, DEKA MILE, and DEKA STRONG:
• 1st Place – $1,000
• 2nd Place – $600
• 3rd Place – $400
The top three Elite Teams in each division will also receive podium batons.
Age Group, Youth, and Ruck Awards
• The top three male and female finishers in each Age Group division will receive a Delta.
• The top three Ruck finishers in the 44 & Under and Masters 45+ divisions will receive podium banners and additional prizes from Titan 6 Actual.
• The top three Age Group Teams, Youth Teams, and Adult/Youth Teams in each division will receive podium batons.
How Athletes Qualify
Every DEKA FIT, DEKA MILE, and DEKA STRONG event during the 2026 season serves as a qualifying opportunity for the DEKA World Championships.
Athletes earn a DEKA Mark at each event, with their top performance displayed on the 2026 Global Leaderboard. Competitors can continue racing throughout the season to improve their standings and potentially secure a Top 15 position before the qualification window closes.
Athletes outside the Top 15 may also receive roll-down invitations if qualified athletes decline their spots.
The 2026 qualification season runs from September 8, 2025 through September 30, 2026.
For Age Group rankings, DEKA will use each athlete’s age as of September 30, 2026.
