The first Hybrid NW event, created by Kieran Higgens, took place in September 2024 at Power Strength and Conditioning in Wigan, followed by a second event on December 7 at CrossFit Wigan. Kieran then partnered with Dale Walker, and together they launched a third event—The Hybrid Games—set to take place for the first time at an outdoor track in Stockport in March 2025.
However, shortly before the March 9, event, the two had a falling out, and that race reverted to the original Hybrid NW name. The fourth Hybrid NW event is now set to take place indoors at a larger venue, while The Hybrid Games has also launched its first event under Dale’s solo leadership—also held indoors, in Liverpool.

Workout Format
Both events includes similar workout stations, with some differences in weights, distances, and rep count. Each station is preceded by a 600m run, and both events finish with a 200m sprint.
