Dylan Scott delivered a standout performance, taking on the Sheriff himself, Hunter McIntyre, in a thrilling head-to-head battle that came down to the final wall balls. Both athletes punched their tickets to the World Championships, along with New Zealandโs Beau Wills, who rounded out the podium in third.
Hunter set the pace early, storming off the SkiErg in the lead and dictating the tempo through the first half of the race. But Dylan proved he’s the man to watch this season, making a decisive move on the burpees and holding a narrow advantage through the latter stages. Despite a late surge from Hunter on the wall balls, Dylan stayed composed, crossing the line with a commanding 22-second lead.
Beau Wills showcased his consistency from the get-go, staying with the leaders for most of the race. Coming out of the farmerโs carry in fourth, he made his move on the lunges, overtaking James Kelly to claim third and the final Worlds-qualifying spot.
Hong Kong Major champion James Kelly and Red Bull athlete Jake Dearden battled hard for fourth and fifth, with just 11 seconds separating them in a tight finish.
