HYROX Munich results. This weekend was the first HYROX event in Germany of the 23/24 season. We witnessed great races in each division with a mix of experienced and newer pro athletes.
In the Ladies event, last year’s Elite 15 athlete Jezabel Kremer battled rising U.K. star Kate Davey for the entire race. The lead changed several times.
In the end, Jezabel managed to pass Kate on the lunges giving her enough of a lead to take the top spot.
Further down the field Jasmine Miedl took part in her first event since March and got herself a 10-minute personal best. This was good enough to earn her 3rd place and her first overall pro podium.
In the Men’s race, Australian James Kelly earned his second overall first place of the season. James has recently relocated to Europe but showed no sign that the move had slowed him down by bagging another sub-60.
In second place Tomas Tvrdik pushed James all the way and was leading for stretches of the race. Like the ladies, the lunges were the deciding factor with James able to pass Tomas for good on this station. Nevertheless, Tomas should be happy with his performance and was so close to hitting a sub-60 of his own.
In third place, Peter Schiller beat the rest of the chasing pack on his home soil.
Well done to all podium placers and everyone who took part in the event. Special props also to the all-star relay team who broke the records in the Male and Female divisions.
The next stop for HYROX will be the start of the U.K. season in Birmingham next week.
