The inaugural XENOM competition completed its first day Saturday at Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas, with 372 finishers across the Individual and Pairs divisions.
Founded by Keith Barlow, XENOM launched in February after announcing $15 million in seed financing led by WndrCo, Rogue Fitness as its foundational equipment partner, and a CrossFit Partner Event Series license agreement with CrossFit, LLC.
The competition features a standardized format of 10 events over two days, with athletes competing as Individuals or same-sex Pairs in Elite, RX, and Compete divisions. XENOM promoted its debut as featuring 2,000 athletes competing in what it calls the “world’s first Decathlon of Fitness™.”
Through Day 1, 228 athletes completed the Individual competition while another 144 finishers crossed the line in the Pairs division.
