2024 DEKA MILE World Championship

Today’s DEKA Mile World Championship saw familiar faces at the top of the podium, as two reigning champions successfully defended their crowns, while new athletes stepped up to claim podium spots.

On the women’s side, Terra Jackson showcased her dominance by finishing in a blistering 20 minutes and 10 seconds, securing her second consecutive DEKA Mile title.

Her journey to the top began in 2022 when she finished 3rd in this event but won both the DEKA Strong and DEKA Fit world titles, solidifying her reputation as one of the top competitors in fitness racing.

For the rest of the podium, Katie Duke is continuing a weekend that has seen her finish 4th in the Solo Fit, and last night won the Co Ed Doubles Fit with Greyson Kilgore.

After hard-fought efforts earlier this year, Janelle Teal finally reached the podium in a DEKA Fit event, following 5th and 6th place finishes. She also showcased her endurance by securing 3rd place in the inaugural DEKA Ultra Fit competition earlier this year.
