HYROX Hamburg 2026 Elite Series First Look

Twelve of the 15 men currently ranked for the HYROX Hamburg Elite 15 field raced at the 2026 World Championships in Stockholm. Six raced in Hamburg last year. On the women’s side, eight raced Worlds and eight raced Hamburg last year.

HYROX Hamburg runs October 28 to November 1 at Hamburg Messe and opens the 2026/27 Elite Series. This comparison uses the Elite 15 rankings as of October 5.

Eight athletes in the top 15 were in neither the Hamburg 2025 nor the Worlds 2026 singles field. On the men’s side, they are Jack Driscoll, Gabriel Heck and Pelayo Menendez Fernandez. On the women’s side, they are Saskia Millard, Annie Emilsson, Camilla Massa, Tanja Stroschneider and Rachael Wade.

The rankings are not the final start list. At HYROX’s first Elite Town Hall last week, Head of Elite Racing Mat Lock said spots open through roll-downs when Elite 15 athletes decline invitations or can’t travel.

Selection has also changed. Last year’s Hamburg field was built from automatic qualifiers and time qualifiers. This season, Elite 15 selection is based on a points ranking.
