Reports That PUMA Has Dropped Joanna Wietrzyk Are False

Reports circulating Thursday that PUMA has dropped Joanna Wietrzyk following the incident at HYROX Beijing are false.

The claim appears to have originated with the Daily Mail, which reported that PUMA had removed a “Joanna Wietrzyk x PUMA” clothing line from its online store. That reporting has since been repeated by several outlets, with some going further and suggesting PUMA is distancing itself from Wietrzyk.

LADbible, UNILAD, The Tab and 7NEWS have all published versions of the story citing the Daily Mail report.

Hybrid Fitness Media has confirmed that reports that PUMA has dropped Wietrzyk are incorrect.

There Was No Joanna Wietrzyk Clothing Line

At the center of the reports is a PUMA webpage titled “Joanna Wietrzyk x PUMA.”

However, the page was not a signature Joanna Wietrzyk clothing line.

It was a curated shopping page featuring PUMA x HYROX products alongside other PUMA training and running products. PUMA itself describes it as the “Joanna Wietrzyk HYROX selection.”One version of the page becoming inaccessible does not establish that PUMA discontinued a Joanna Wietrzyk clothing line, because there was no signature Joanna Wietrzyk clothing line to discontinue.

In fact, versions of the same “Joanna Wietrzyk x PUMA” page remain live on PUMA’s European websites.

PUMA Ireland’s Joanna Wietrzyk page currently lists 167 products, while PUMA Luxembourg’s Joanna Wietrzyk page lists 170.

Those pages include products such as the PUMA x HYROX Deviate NITRO Elite 4, PUMA x HYROX sports bras and shorts, as well as general PUMA running and training apparel.

Wietrzyk’s PUMA Relationship

Wietrzyk still lists @pumatraining in her Instagram bio, while the PUMA Training Instagram account continues to feature content with Wietrzyk wearing PUMA gear.

There has been no public announcement from either PUMA or Wietrzyk that their relationship has ended.
